Robert Young, 61, of 1712 E. 41st St. died of a heart ailment Tuesday at University Hospitals in Iowa City.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home in Des Moines. Burial will be at Ashton Chapel Cemetery in Mingo.
Mr. Young, who owned a tree service, was born in Des Moines. He returned after living in Stuart for several years.
Surviving are two sons, Jerry of Hawaii and Dennis of Des Moines; seven sisters, Betty Palmer of Carlisle, Edith Lund of Little River, S.C., Mary Stuart of Indianola and Virginia Mastin, Rose Nichols, Linda Scott and Donna Young, all of Des Moines; three brothers, Stanley, William and Donald, all of Des Moines; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call after 9 a.m. today at the funeral home.
