Helma Graham, 89, of Mitchellville died Friday, September 1, 2006 at the Taylor House. Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at Hamilton’s Mitchellville Funeral Home, 303 Center Ave. South. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
Helma was born February 16, 1971 in Manilla, Iowa. She enjoyed fishing, dancing, doing yard work, and loved her family dearly.
Helma is survived by her children, Alan (Leona) Graham of Collins, Anna (Rick) Davis of Des Moines; grandchildren, Richard (Sandy) Graham of Collins, Christine Bowler of Altoona, Tracey Lampley of Branson, Mo., Kit (Sherryl) Cochran of Woodward, Sam (Phoebe) Cochran of Des Moines, Jim Johnson, Diane Jepsen, Michael Johnson, all of Story City, Robert Johnson of Texas; her brother, Robert (Virginia) Stegemann of Des Moines, and many great-grandchildren.
Helma was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; her great-grandson, Sammy Cochran, Jr.; her parents, two brothers and one sister.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Graham Cemetery Association.
