Services for Louis H. Geisler, 85, of Ankeny, who died Friday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital of a stroke, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Ankeny Baptist Church with burial at Graham Cemetery in Mingo.
A native of Mingo, Mr. Geisler previously lived in Steele, N.D., for 19 years before moving to the Ankeny area 36 years ago. He was a retired farmer. He was a member of Ankeny Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Anna; two sons, Milford of Bossier City, La., and Junior of Bondurant; four daughters Mrs. Nadine Jones and Mrs. Asta Blakely, both of Des Moines, Mrs. Leta Parker of Boone and Mrs. Verda Homrig of Urbandale; one sister, Mrs. Viola Lozier of Hollywood, Calif.; 12 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Ankeny Baptist Church.
