Services for Maurice M. Pentico, 64, of 3004 Fifth St., who died Thursday of a heart attack while visiting friends at 1511 Fifth St., will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home with burial at Glendale Cemetery.
A native of Colfax, he had lived in Hawaii before moving to Des Moines several years ago. He was a maintenance worker for The Des Moines Register and Tribune for 17 years before retiring three years ago.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline, and a nephew, Maurice Pentico.
