Former Area Resident Died
Pauline Hoopingarner, 58, of Blue Springs, Mo. former area resident, died Saturday, October 30, at Monterey Park Nursing Center in Blue Springs. Funeral services were held at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 2nd, at First Christian Church in Blue Springs. Burial was on Wednesday, November 3, at Graham Cemetery in Mingo.
The daughter of Jesse E. Huntrods Heffelfinger and Paul Heffelfinger, she was born March 15, 1935 in Collins.
Survivors are her husband, Arthur Hoopingarner of Blue Springs, Mo.; a son, James A. Hoopingarner of Blue Springs, and a daughter, Patricia Truelove of Seattle, Wash.
Also surviving are her father, Paul Heffelfinger of Mingo and two brothers, Jerry Heffelfinger of Mingo and Robert Heffelfinger of Danville.
She was a homemaker and housekeeper for Ramada Inn and various motel chains. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Blue Springs, the Board of Deacons, choir and Christian Women’s Fellowship of the church.
She graduated from Mingo High School in 1954 and moved to Missouri in 1972.
She was married to Arthur Hoopingarner on July 17, 1960.
