Bertha Irene Kono, age 19 years, died at her former home, Dolliver on March 8, of influenza. Services were held at Dolliver, Sunday and Kellogg Tuesday at 2 p.m. Interment at Kellogg.
She graduated from Dolliver High in May of 1927. The family just moved to a farm east of Kellogg.
Bertha leaves her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Levi Kono, three brothers, Wendell, Lawrence and Gerald Kono, her grandmother, Mrs. Fred Kono and many other relatives and friends. The Kono family lived here and are well known, as they come back often to visit with their relatives, the Lints and other friends.
