Kellogg Post, October 21 – Died, in Kellogg, Sunday at 11 a.m. of heart disease, Anton Bodum, aged 36 years, 1 month and 12 days.
The deceased, Anton Bodum, was born in Schleswig, Holstein, Germany on September 15th, 1844. He came to the United States in 1870 and in 1872 was married to Emma Jurgenson; three children were the fruits of this union.
Deceased has resided in this place for about eight years, a good portion of which time he has been successfully engaged in the mercantile trade, which he was carrying on at the time of his death. His sickness was short and his death quite sudden.
Funeral services took place Wednesday at 1 p.m., ceremonies being conducted by Rev. F. A. Boden, pastor of the German Lutheran church of this place. The bereaved family have the sympathies of the community.
