Mrs. Ray (Clara) Tiffany Died
Mrs. Ray (Clara) Tiffany, 83, a longtime resident of Collins, died Thursday in Des Moines.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Christian Church in Collins.
The Rev. David Shaeffer, pastor of the church, conducted the services. Burial was in Ashton Cemetery west of Baxter.
Memorial contributions to the family will be accepted.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Myrtle) Fisk of Prophetstown, Ill., and Mrs. Clinton (Alta) Laudner of Iowa Falls; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Oct. 13, 1970 and nine brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Tiffany, who was very active in church work, was a member of the Christian Women’s Fellowship and the Happy Birthday Club.
The daughter of Herbert K. and Mary A. Edwards Skinner, she was born June 26, 1889 in Jasper County.
She was married Feb. 27, 1906 in Clear Creek Township.
The organist, Mrs. Hugh Fertig accompanied the soloist, Mrs. Tom Lovig.
Bearers were Ronald Smith, Richard Smith, Harold Tiffany, Frank Tiffany, Alvin Tiffany and Henry Tiffany.
In charge of the flowers were Miss Ilo Carver and Mrs. Donna Ose.
