Anthony “Tony” N. Nicholas, 29, died unexpectedly at his home in Newton, Iowa on Saturday, July 31, 2021. Services for Tony will be private, with burial in Oakland Cemetery in Iowa City.
Born July 1, 1992 in Galesburg, Illinois. Tony grew up in Newton and graduated from Newton High School in 2011.
Tony is survived by his father, Jan Nicholas; grandparents, Jon and Marilyn Nicholas; fiancé, Alison Cooper; birth mother, Kari (Jarod) Buckman; half-brother, Dalton Buckman; half-sister, Kolbie Buckman, grandmother, Karen Bell; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
