Rebecca South Rites Wednesday
Services for Mrs. Rebecca A. South, 87, formerly of Bondurant, who died of a gall bladder illness Sunday at Minneapolis, Minn., will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Hamilton Funeral Home. Burial will be at Vandalia.
Born in Jasper county, Mrs. South lived at Bondurant before moving to Minneapolis in 1928.
Surviving are her husband, Wallace M.; three daughters, Clara Bell South of Minneapolis, Mrs. Maggie Jones of Princeton, Minn., and Mrs. J. H. Simms of Des Moines; five sons, Charles M. of Archie, Mo., Walter W. of Inglewood, Cal., Edgar T. of Rapid City, S.D., Clifford F. of Minneapolis and Don D. of Detroit, Mich.; two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Quick of Great Falls, Mont., and Mrs. Mary Flemming of Bondurant; 18 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
