Albert Bunse, Former Area Resident, Dies
Albert J. Bunse, 77, of St. Petersburg, Fla., a resident of the Newton community from 1926 until 1956, died Wednesday at St. Petersburg.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Johnson-Reese Chapel.
The Rev. Roy Nelson, pastor of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, will conduct services. Burial will be in the Newton Union Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Johnson-Reese Chapel from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday.
Survivors are his wife Ethel; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Cryder of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Dorothy Larson of Davenport; seven grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Hilda Iske and Mrs. Clara Edge, both of Newton.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The son of Christian and Caroline Seitter Bunse, he was born Feb. 22, 1899 in Missouri.
He was married to Ethel Scheider in 1925 at St. Joseph, Mo.
