Carl F. Klein Dies Sunday; Rites Tuesday
Carl F. Klein, 73, of the Jasper County Care Facility, died Sunday morning at the facility.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Toland-Wallace Funeral Home.
The Rev. Harold L. Behle, pastor of the Bethany United Church of Christ east of Baxter, will conduct services.
Burial will be in the Zoar Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Toland-Wallace Funeral Home after 3 p.m. today.
Survivors are a brother, Fred Klein of Rt. 1, Newton; and a sister, Mrs. August (Sarah) Dee of Baxter.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, John C. Klein; and a sister, Mrs. Fred (Ella) Bollhoefer.
Mr. Klein, a farmer, was a member of the Zoar United Church of Christ.
The son of Charles J. and Kathryn Boeke Klein, he was born June 26, 1902 in the Newton area.
