Local Resident’s Grandmother Dies
Mrs. Augusta Berghefer of Belmond, grandmother of Kurt Beenen of Newton, died Sunday evening at the Belmond Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church in Belmond.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Carroll (Garnett) Beenen of Iowa City and a former Newton resident; and a granddaughter, Mrs. James (Barbara) Dickerson of Colfax.
