Nova C. Earles Died Wednesday May 26th
Nova Clifford Earles, 66, a resident of Colfax since 1949, died Wednesday, May 26th at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Waters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax.
The Rev. Dick Clark, pastor of the Colfax United Methodist Church conducted services. Burial was in the McKeever Cemetery north of Colfax.
Survivors are his wife, Mary; a son, Bill of Colfax; six daughters, Mrs. Hubert (Wilma) Churchill of Newton, Mrs. Richard (Pat) Lewis of Colfax, Mrs. Dan (Barbara) Dohndt of Malcom, Mrs. Don (Karen) Kendall of Eldora, Mrs. Terry (Brenda) Lohnes of Eldora and Sherri Earles of Colfax; 20 grandchildren; a brother, Wood of Collins and a sister, Mrs. Fern McAllister of Bellflower, Calif.
Mr. Earles was an employee of the Van Dusseldorp Gravel Co. of Colfax.
The son of John and Mandy Collins Earles, he was born Feb. 13, 1910 in Harris, Mo.
He was married to Mary Bradley Aug. 9, 1933 at Harvard.
Duet: Rev. and Mrs. Dick Clark.
Organist: Mrs. Frank B. Evans.
Casket Bearers: Norman Beals, Jerry Partelow, James Spain, Dave Van Dusseldorp, Eben Van Dusseldorp, Jr., Melvin Van Dusseldorp.
Flower Committee: Mrs. Keith McCuen, Mrs. Jessie Elliott.
