Nell Wilding Dies Saturday; Services Today
Colfax – Funeral services for Mrs. John (Nell T.) Wilding, 92, a resident of the Jasper County Care Facility since 1965 and former Colfax resident, were held today at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax.
The Rev. Robert Jones, pastor of the Christian Church in Colfax conducted services. Burial was in Colfax.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Ted (Enid) Nelson of Des Moines; Mrs. Fred (Doris) Stacy of Oskaloosa and Mrs. Lloyd (Mary) Firman of Norway; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, a daughter, a brother and a sister.
The daughter of John W. and Arlisha Banks Hester, she was born Jan. 5, 1884 at Spring Hill.
She was married Jan. 13, 1908 in Colfax.
She died Saturday at the Care Facility.
