Edna Beason, Longtime Area Resident, Dies
Lynnville – Funeral services for Edna Beason, 82, a longtime resident of the Lynnville community, were held recently at the Lynnville Friends Church.
The Rev. Ernest Thompson, pastor of the church, conducted services. Burial was in the West Liberty Cemetery in Searsboro.
Survivors are two sons, Gerald and Leland, both of Lynnville; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Beason was born May 11, 1894 in Poweshiek County.
She died recently at the New Sharon Care Center.
