Lillie B. Mott Services Today
Prairie City – Funeral services for Mrs. James D. (Lillie B.) Mott, 79, of Newton, were held today at the Walters Funeral Home in Prairie City.
The Rev. Oren L. Reger, pastor of the Prairie City United Methodist Church, conducted the services. Burial was in Vandalia Cemetery southwest of Prairie City.
Survivors are her husband; a son, Vern D. of Centerville; two grandsons, Jack and Terry Mott; a great-grandchild; a sister, Mrs. Nellie Ross of Benson, Minn.; and two brothers, Archie Pachan of Morris, Minn., and Earl of Morris, Minn.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pachan, she was born Jan. 6, 1894 in Sioux City.
Mrs. Mott was a member of the United Methodist Church in Prairie City.
She was married Feb. 5, 1915 in Jasper County.
Mrs. Mott died Tuesday at the Altoona Nursing Home.
