Mrs. Ed. Borts came from Truro last Sunday, called here by the sickness and death of her aunt, Miss Borts.

Mingo Items – The death of Miss Mary Ann Borts occurred at her home Sunday evening. Miss Borts was only sick a few days; paralysis was the cause of death. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at the M. E. Church, interment at Ashton Chapel. Obituary will appear next week.

Obituary
Miss Mary Ann Borts was born December ___ 1842 in Pennsylvania and came to ___ with her parents about forty ____. She was converted in early ___ united with the church ___ faithful, consistent Christian ___ united with the M.E. ____ letter August 13th ___ devoted her life ___ the services ___ rs and her ___, and her ___ stimony. ___ life on _____ 1916.
Leaving to mourn her loss are two brothers and many relatives and friends.
The funeral was conducted from the M.E. church and the remains interred in the Ashton cemetery Monday afternoon. The funeral sermon was preached by her pastor, Rev. D. L. Johnson, form the text: “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.”
