Glenna Mae Jackson, age 85 of Newton, died Friday, February 04, 2022, at Accura East Health Care in Newton. No services are planned for Glenna. A private burial will take place at Palo Alto Cemetery in rural Newton at a later date.

The daughter of Glen B, Jackson and Irene (Neasham) Jackson, Glenna was born on December 14, 1936, in Newton, Iowa. She was raised in the Monroe area and graduated from Monroe High School in 1955. She moved to Newton in 1985 and had been a resident of Accura for the past 12 years. She was a member of the Monroe United Methodist Church. Preceding her in death were her parents and a brother, Andrew E. Jackson in 1988
