Bert Pentico, of Colfax, Died Sunday – Funeral Held Tuesday
Mrs. Bertha Huss went to Colfax Tuesday morning to attend the funeral services which will be held there Tuesday afternoon for Bert Pentico, who died at his home Sunday morning after a lingering illness of twelve years, the immediate cause of his death being paralysis.
Mr. Pentico had lived in Colfax for a number of years with his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Pentico. He was unmarried.
Those who survive him are his sister, Mrs. Hiram Wiggins, of Des Moines, and a brother, Homer, of near Newton.
This is the second death in the Pentico family within the past two weeks, Roy, another brother and son, having died in Newton a short while ago of cancer.
