Services for W. F. Ritzhaupt to Be Held on Saturday
Funeral services for William F. Ritzhaupt, 71, life-long resident of Jasper county who passed away yesterday afternoon, will be held at two o’clock Saturday afternoon at the Johnson-Murdoch Funeral Home.
Rev. I. R. Bowers, pastor of the Full Gospel church, will officiate at the services and burial will be at the Griffits cemetery west of Monroe.
Mary Dinsmore will serve as organist and Rev. Rex Dinsmore will be soloist. The following hymns will be presented at the services: “The Old Rugged Cross,” “Where We Never Grow Old”, and “I Won’t Have to Cross Jordan Alone.”
Pallbearers will be Wesley Lammey, Wallace Lammey, Raymond Ritzhaupt, Carroll Ritzhaupt, Frank Ford and Edward Pentico.
Mr. Ritzhaupt is survived by three sisters, Mrs. William Pentico of Newton, Mrs. Ed Pentico of Prairie City and Mrs. John Wenzel of Afton; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
Born west of Monroe Jan. 13, 1878, Mr. Ritzhaupt was educated in Jasper county schools. He farmed in Jasper county until his retirement several years ago.
