Gretchen Maria Miller, 82, of Runnells, died of a heart ailment June 23, 1998, at Pleasant Care Living Center in Pleasantville. Services were held June 27 at Rising Sun Church of Christ, with burial in Vandalia Cemetery.
Mrs. Miller was born in Adelphi and had lived in Runnells most of her life. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn Hoffman of Pleasantville; two sons, Bob of Pleasantville and Tom of Runnells; a sister, Kathryn Forret of Des Moines; a brother, Luther Robinson of Runnells; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Vandalia Cemetery Association or Rising Sun Church of Christ.
