Carol Pulver, oldest son of Francis Pulver, passed away at the home of his parents Friday afternoon, following a brief illness.
Carol Esten Pulver, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Francis and Dessie Pulver was born near Vandalia on December 27, 1924 and departed this life at the home of his parents April 21, 1933 being but 8 years, 3 months, 24 days of age. Carol was always a healthy chap attending the Fleming school east of Vandalia but three weeks ago he contracted a blood disease that caused his death. He leaves two brothers, one sister, father, mother, three uncles, six aunts, two grandfathers, one grandmother and a number of friends.

Services conducted at Vandalia by Earl Warren in presence of largest crowd ever seen there since Frank Ruckers passing. Singing by Runnells quartette, burial at Vandalia.
Card of Thanks – We wish to thank the friends and neighbors for their kindness and sympathy during the illness and death of our son and brother. – Mr. and Mrs. Francis Pulver and family.
