Mrs. Dessie Rojohn, Vandalia Resident, Dies, Rites Sunday
Vandalia (Special) – Mrs. Dessie Rojohn, 71, a lifetime resident of Jasper county, died yesterday at Des Moines General hospital after a short illness.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at the Vandalia Church of Christ with burial in the Vandalia cemetery.
Mrs. Rojohn was born Dec. 5, 1880, in Jasper county and attended rural schools. On March 5, 1905, she married Fred Rojohn at Vandalia and the couple farmed all of their married life. Mr. Rojohn died last July.
Survivors are four sons, Harold of Newton, Cecil and Leo of Fort Dodge and Noel of Ivy; one daughter, Mrs. Esther Tidball of Monroe; 15 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
