Mrs. Pearl Erskin, 80, of 2940 Maple St. died of a heart ailment Thursday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital after a long illness.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Grandview Park Baptist Church. Burial will be in Vandalia Cemetery.
Mrs. Erskin was born in Albia and also lived in Colfax before moving to Des Moines 48 years ago.
Survivors include a daughter, Ina Williams of Des Moines; three sons, Arlo, Hugh and Melvin, all of Des Moines; a half-sister, Lola Geubelle of Everett, Wash.; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Grandview Park Baptist Church, of which Mrs. Erskin was a member.
Hamilton’s Funeral Home is in charge of service arrangements.
