Died on the 23rd, of February at the residence of her son-in-law, Mr. C. Polk, of Vandalia, Iowa, Mrs. Celectia Sims in her 63rd year.
Sister Sims was a member f the Baptist Church and during her last sickness manifested a Christian spirit and expressed strong confidence in Jesus Christ as her Savior and she was a witness to the great truth that is blessed to die the death of the righteous. She leaves behind many friends to mourn her untimely loss. But fight well the good fight, and keep the faith and we shall meet in that better land where parting is unknown.
