Nicole Ivena Shannon, infant daughter of Doug and Dorothy Mason Shannon of Des Moines, died Monday, April 30, at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 3, at the First Assembly of God in Des Moines.
The Rev. Merlin Wilkins will conduct services and burial will be in Vandalia Cemetery.
Memorials to SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) may be left at Hamilton’s Funeral Home in Des Moines.
Besides her parents, the child is survived by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Marlan Shannon of Newton and Mr. and Mrs. Linford Mason of Ellston, and her great-grandparents, Laurence Boorusch of Tingley and Mr. and Mrs. Myron Woodrow of Newton.
The child was born Feb. 29, 1984 in Des Moines.
