Charles Ingle, 73, Runnells, Is Dead
Charles Ingle, 73, a farmer who spent most of his life in the Runnells vicinity, died Wednesday at Des Moines General Hospital. He was born on a farm west of Prairie City.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in the Vandalia Church of Christ, with burial at the Vandalia Cemetery. The Rev. Bernell Weems will officiate.
Surviving are his wife, Electa; one daughter, Mrs. Clifford Duckstein, Newton; nine sons, Goldie, Paul and Gilbert, Runnells; Walter and Glenn, Des Moines; Harold, Newton; Lester, Mitchellville; Marvin, Prairie City; and Vern, Swan; one brother, Sherman, Caldwell, Kan.; 23 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
