Colfax Man Was Buried Yesterday
Colfax, Ia., March 9 (Special To The Daily News) – L. A. Warrick, 52 years old, who died Tuesday morning of pleural pneumonia at the Colfax sanitarium, was buried yesterday morning. Services were held in the Bethel Baptist church at 10 o’clock with Rev. George O. Terrell, pastor of the church, officiating.
Mr. Warrick had been the chef at the Federal hospital at Colfax and prior to that time he was employed in the same capacity at the Hotel Colfax.
Mr. Warrick was born in Green county, Ohio, in 1870. He had no immediate relatives in Iowa and his nearest immediate relatives are one sister in Arkansas and a brother in Seattle, Washington.
