Kenneth Kaldenberg Rites Held Oct. 18
Kenneth C. Kaldenberg, 84, of Yakima, Wash. Died Monday, October 14, in Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.
He was born May 16, 1907 to John and Eva (Butler) Kaldenberg in Colfax. He was a graduate of the Chicago Electrical Engineering School. On Dec. 1, 1928, he married Coral Battles. In 1935, the couple moved to the Yakima Valley, where they were fruit ranchers in the Naches Heights area.
Mr. Kaldenberg was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and the Fruitvale Grange. He was an avid fisherman and gardener. He loved the ocean.
Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Yunker and husband, Robert of Coupeville, Wash., and Carolyn Sterns and husband, Lynn of Yakima; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Mr. Kaldenberg was preceded in death by his wife, Coral in 1987.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 18, at Keith & Keith 9th Ave. Chapel in Yakima. Concluding services and burial were at West Hills Memorial Park.
