Zelda Hatch Services Held Oct. 30
Zelda Hatch, 86, a longtime resident of Baxter, died Sunday Oct. 27, at the Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, at the Congregational United Church of Christ. Pastor Marie Paterik, pastor of Bethany United Church of Christ, conducted services. Burial was in Restland Cemetery in Baxter.
Survivors are a sister, LoRena Waterman of Baxter; two nieces and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
The daughter of Don and Clara Northrup Hatch, she was born Aug. 25, 1905, in Baxter and was educated in Malaka Township and Baxter schools.
Miss Hatch had lived on a farm near Baxter in Malaka Township prior to moving to Baxter.
