Funeral services for Dorothy M. Hunter Lambert, 74, of 706 E. 27th St. S., a resident of Newton since 1967, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, at Wallace-Pence Funeral Home.
The Rev. Richard Fleming, pastor of the Immanuel Baptist Church, will conduct services. Burial will be in Newton memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Wallace-Pence Funeral Home.
Memorials to the American Cancer Society or Immanuel Baptist church will be accepted.
She died Monday morning at the Newton Health Care Center.
Survivors are a brother, Harold Hunter of Newton; and a sister, Gladys (Mrs. Herbert) Rohlfsen of Cleghorn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, parents, step-father, Clifford Conley, and a brother, Kenneth Hunter.
Mrs. Lambert, a homemaker, attended the Immanuel Baptist Church.
The daughter of Richard Earl and Ethel Hume Dunne Hunter, she was born Sept. 16, 1917 in Cherokee County.
She was married to Thomas William Lambert Dec. 7, 1954 in Kirksville, Mo.
