Pella – Dick Ryken, 82, of Pella, brother of Nellie Uitermarkt of Monroe and a longtime Peoria and new Sharon resident, died Sunday, Dec. 8, at the Pella Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Second Christian Reformed Church in Pella.
The Rev. Gordon Mouw, a passtor of the church, will conduct services. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Leighton.
Friends may call at the Pella Garden Chapel Funeral Home all day Wednesday. Visitation with the family will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials to the Second Christian Reformed Church will be accepted.
Also surviving are his wife, a son, a daughter, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two brothers and two other sisters.
