Rites Held Nov. 6 For Charles Butler
Services for Charles M. Butler, 76, of rural Grand Mound, were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, at Sts. Philip and James Catholic Church in Grand Mound. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery in Grand Mound.
Mr. Butler died Sunday, Nov. 3, at Westwing Place, DeWitt.
Mr. Butler farmed in rural Grand Mound. He married Marlys Kallenbach in 1947 in Rock Island. She died in 1987.
He graduated from Colfax High School in 1932.
Survivors include daughters, Sandy (Mrs. William) Enright, Mesa, Ariz.; and Janis (Mrs. Ronald) Weier, Platteville, Wis.; sons, Gary and David, both of DeWitt; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mildred Ward of Colfax.
