Colfax – Selena Weithers Burt, 90, of Minneapolis, Minn., a former longtime resident of Colfax, died Wednesday, Nov. 6, at the Martin Luther Manor in Minneapolis.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax.
The Rev. John McKinstry, pastor of the Howard Street Christian Church in Colfax, will conduct services. Burial will be in Colfax Cemetery.
Family visitation will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials to the Howard Street Christian Church may be left at the funeral home.
Survivors are three sons, Gerald of Bloomington, Minn., Robert of Tucson, Ariz., and Marvin of Stillwater, Minn.; a daughter, Marjorie Meckley of Eagan, Minn.; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Roy, a son, Harold; two brothers and two sisters.
Mrs. Burt was a member of the Howard Street Christian Church.
She had been employed at Easters, United and Wayne’s markets in Colfax.
The daughter of Henry and Sina Vogel Weithers, she was born March 26, 1901 in Latner.
