Catherine Marie Malley, 75 of Newton died on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at The MercyOne Newton Medical Center.

Catherine, the daughter of James John and Helen (Padden) Malley, was born on August 22, 1945 in Chicago and graduated from Holy Trinity Highschool. Catherine loved spending time with her daughter and family, she loved kids, animals, plants, flowers, reading, and music. She loved watching movies with her daughter, she loved making her hand-crafted flowers and crocheting, she loved to laugh and have a good time. Catherine was strong in her catholic faith.

Catherine is survived by her daughter Helen Mahoney; her nieces and nephews, Jessamyn Mahoney, Gabriella Mahoney, David Mahoney, Frank (Jess) Mahoney, Britney Reeves, Dean and Michael Dupee, Pearce Powers; her grandnieces and grandnephews, Jasmine, Evan, Elijah, Zayden, Abigail, Mackenzie, Mercedes, Nick; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Becca Powers, Marilyn (Charlie) Mahoney, Jamie (James) Nicholes, Tammy True, Danny (Judith) Mahoney, and former husband Dale Mahoney.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her mother-in-law and father-in-law; her sisters, Danielle (Harold) Mahoney and Leanna Kay Goshinsky.
