Lloyd Hutchinson Dies Thursday; Rites Saturday

KELLOGG - Lloyd W. Hutchinson, 79 of Kellogg, a lifelong resident of Kellogg, died Thursday morning at the Heritage Manor in Newton.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Wallace Funeral Home in Newton.

Father Frederick Kramer, rector of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Newton, will conduct services. Burial will be in the Newton Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Wallace Funeral Home after 9 a.m. Friday.

Survivors are two sons, Lloyd Jr. of New Lisbon, Wis., and Larry of Newton; three daughters, Mrs. Francis (Doris) Froah and Mrs. Paul (Arlene) Myers, both of Newton, and Mrs. Gary (Marilyn) Rutledge of Cedar Rapids; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are a brother, Almer of Eagle Grove; and three sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Faircloth of Marshalltown, Mrs. Alice Chalstrom of Fort Dodge and Mrs. Zella Bergeson of Whittemore.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Elsie, Jan. 13, 1978; an infant son, Rodger James; and six brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Hutchinson was a longtime employee of the Parsons Co.

The son of William and Anna Williams Hutchinson, he was born April 28, 1900 in Kellogg.

He was married to Elsie Koppin Dec. 27, 1922 in Newton.
