Death of Former Resident
Mrs. Flossie M. Kintz, 65, of Des Moines, died Saturday, April 16th at the Des Moines General Hospital. She had suffered a stroke Friday.
Mrs. Kintz had been a resident of Colfax for 40 years. She was married to Ivan Kintz, who died in 1944. A son, Harold, also preceded her in death in 1951.
Survivors are two sons, Raymond Kintz of San Jose, Calif., Earnest Kintz of Des Moines, four daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Gallagher and Mrs. Evelyn Borts of Oregon, Mrs. Penny Borts of Colfax and Mrs. Clarica Cannon of Des Moines; 21 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Hamilton’s Funeral Home in Des Moines.
Burial was in the Kintz Cemetery at Colfax.
