Mrs. S. A. Pease, Former Resident, Dies at St. Paul
Ira – Mrs. Stephen A. (Elma Pauline) Pease, 54, of St. Paul, Minn., a former resident of Ira, died Friday at the Anchor Hospital at St. Paul.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Boyd-Nickell Funeral Home at Baxter.
Burial will be in Union Chapel at Ira.
Mrs. Pease is survived by her husband; two sons, Stephen A. Pease Jr. and Roger of St. Paul; a daughter, Mrs. Darlene Loewen of St. Paul; seven grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. M. M. Williams of Altoona and Mrs. Iva Seales of Lorimor, Iowa.
The daughter of William and Susie Maggard, she was born Sept. 15, 1909 in the Ira community.
Educated in rural schools, she moved to Hertel, Wis.
She was married Feb. 17, 1927 at Shell Lake, Wis., to Stephen A. Pease and resided in Hertel until moving to St. Paul four years ago.
