Died – April 18, 1882, at the residence of Eli Boyd, in Poweshiek township, Jasper county, Iowa, Frances Smith, aged 20 years.
Deceased, a most estimable young lady, was a victim of quick consumption, having been ill only four or five months. Her funeral was held at the M.E. Church, Greencastle, Rev. B. F. Durfee conducting the service. The interment was at the Trammel burying ground.
