Mary, widow of Mr. Frank Campbell, passed away last Tuesday at the home of her son, Samuel K., in Ira, at the age of nearly 74 years, after an illness of only a week, a victim of the prevailing epidemic of la grippe, complicated with sciatica. The family of nine living children were all present at her bedside except one daughter, now ill at a Des Moines hospital. The funeral was held today at Union Chapel, near Ira, Rev. Williams, the Methodist pastor at Mingo, conducting the service, and the body was laid to rest in the chapel cemetery.
