Francis M. Killgore died at his residence east of Colfax, Monday, April 1, 1889, aged 44 years, 6 months and 25 days. Mr. Killgore had been a resident of this part of Jasper county for 39 years, coming here from Indiana, his native state, with his parents. Six months ago he married Ella Urick, who with his aged mother survives him. The funeral from the residence last Wednesday was attended by a large number of Colfax people and neighbors. Rev. Vail conducted religious services and the interment was at the Slaughter burying ground.
