Beda May Graham, daughter of Norman and Tillie Graham, was born in Polk County, May 7, 1875 and passed away, in Des Moines, July 22, 1928 at the age of 53 years, 2 months and 15 days.
In girlhood she was converted and united with the M.P. Church at Farrar.
She was united in marriage with Harry Baldwin, November 30, 1895. To them were born two children, a son, Norman Ernest and a daughter, Vivian.
Mrs. Baldwin leaves to mourn her loss her devoted husband, of Mingo, Iowa, her daughter, Mrs. John Stock and her son Norman and a grandson Marion Stock, all of Des Moines, a brother, Ernest Graham of Farrar and a stepmother, Mrs. Anna Graham of Des Moines, besides a host of relatives, friends and neighbors.
Short funeral services were held at the Posers Funeral home at 9th and Des Moines St., in Des Moines at 11:30 by Rev. Forrest Perkins of the Mingo M.E. Church.
The funeral party came to the Zion Evangelical Church where the services were continued before a large audience of former friends and relatives. Rev. Perkins used the words which are found in 2nd Corinthians, 5:1 for his text.
A quartet composed of Fred Geisler, Irene Heberer, Mrs. Ella Baldwin and Lee Boucher, with Mrs. John Altes at the piano, furnished the music.
A great profusion of flowers told of the love and esteem which was shown to the departed one of the family.
Interment was made in the Graham cemetery.
