She was married to Laurel “Dyke” Dykstra Oct. 19, 1943, in Corsicana, Texas. He was a pilot in the Army Air Corps during World War II. She was a wonderful, loving and vivacious wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother and a very good friend to all who knew her. She had fun with her family including floating down the Skunk River on inner tubes when she was in her 80s. At the age of 88, she went skydiving with her grandson, Brian Dawson. She and Dyke would spend their winters in Florida and made many good friends. We have so many special memories and treasure them all.
