Cloyd Hall, 68, of Mingo Dies Tuesday
Mingo (Special) Cloyd Hazel Hall, 68, retired farmer and laborer, who had lived in the Mingo and Valeria communities his entire life, died Tuesday evening at Still Hospital in Des Moines.
Mr. Hall had been in poor health for several weeks and was taken to the hospital Saturday evening following a heart attack. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Mingo Methodist church with the Rev. Ralph Erts officiating. Burial will be in Greencastle cemetery.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. John (Enid) Altes, Monroe; one son, Harold, Colfax; three sisters, Mrs. Henry (Zella) McKeever, Des Moines, Mrs. Wayne (Ina) Sargent, Maxwell, Mrs. George (May) Altes, Mingo; and two brothers, Jay, Bondurant, and Ray, Mingo.
Born to Charles F. and Lucy D. Hall at Valeria May 20, 1885, the deceased married Bessie May Welder March 31, 1910. He had lived in Mingo since 1936.
The Boyd-Nickell Funeral Home of Baxter is in charge.

Cloyd Hall who has been ill for the past few weeks was admitted to the Still Hospital in Des Moines Saturday where his condition remains “fair.”
