SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Marguerite L. Yarham, 99, of Springfield, Mo., formerly of Newton, died Sunday, Dec. 7, in Springfield Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home South in Springfield, Mo. The body has been cremated and burial will be in Newton at a later date.

The daughter of John and Nora Ballard, she was born Aug. 30, 1904, in Rock City. She was married to Ray Yarham for 52 years and lived in Newton, where they owned and operated Yarham Monuments for several years.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Donna Yarham of Springfield; a step-daughter-in-law, Doreen Yarham of Arizona; three grandsons; four step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four step-great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, two brothers and two step-sons.
