Nancy S. Crook, 46, of Newton died Saturday, Nov. 8, at University of Iowa Hospital in
Iowa City.

A private family service will be held at a later date. The body was cremated.

No visitation is scheduled. Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton is handling arrangements.

The daughter of Jim K. and Norma Jean (Ashley) Crook, she was born May 21, 1957, in Newton. She graduated from Newton Senior High School in 1975.

Survivors include her mother; two brothers and a sister-in-law; Dan and Julie Crook and Tim Crook, all of Newton; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Becky (twin sister) and Bob Etter, Laurie Van Wyngarden and Kim Finch, all of Newton; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and maternal and paternal grandparents.
