Little Norman Edward Gulling, youngest son of Ralph and Blanche Gulling was born march 24, 1932 and departed this life July 3, 1933 at the Lutheran Hospital, being sick just one week. He was taken to the hospital Sunday night as the doctor thought it would be necessary to operate but the little boy was too weak.
During this time all that was possible was done for his comfort and care but skilled science and loving care was all in vain for the little life slipped quietly away at 5:30 Monday evening at the early age of 1 year, 3 months, and 9 days. He will be so greatly missed by his mother, father and little brother Bobby who loved him so. He was of such a loving disposition and the little sweet smile that he always had for everyone will be greatly missed. Besides his mother, father and little brother, Bobby he leaves 4 grandparents, 5 aunts, 4 uncles and several little cousins to mourn his departure.
The funeral was held at the Vandalia church. The Rev. L. M. Wilkinson of Mitchellville was in charge.
