Lynnville Woman Dies yesterday
Funeral Rites for Mrs. T. A. Thompson Will be Held Friday Afternoon
Funeral services for Mrs. Thomas A. Thompson of Lynnville, well known Jasper county pioneer resident, who died at her home Wednesday morning about 5 o’clock, will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock in Lynnville.
Mrs. Thompson has been in failing health for the last year. She is known in Newton as she formerly lived here about 4 years ago. Mrs. Thompson was 70 years old at the time of her death.
Mrs. Thompson is survived by her husband, one son, Oscar Thompson of Lynnville and one daughter Mrs. Chester Espy, who is making her home here at the present time, one brother William Brazelton of Des Moines, two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Phillips of Bellingham, Wash., and Mrs. Jennie Snyder of Newton, one nephew, Elmer Snyder of Newton and one niece, Mrs. W. A. Hammer of Newton.
Burial will be made in the Lynnville cemetery.
