Monroe News – Wm. Wittmer, 85, passed away at his home at Monroe on Thursday evening July 24. He is survived by two sons C. Wittmer of Des Moines, Harold Wittmer of Monroe, and two daughters, Mrs. Angie Danks of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Mrs. Mamie Vander Ploeg of Otley and seven grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon.
